3 more days to the start of a brand new year

Gonna start the momentum of blogging again because i really want to rmb all the jolly good times i've had :D

Eve of Christmas Eve

A warmth steamboat gathering with my primary sch peeps at meifang's house. So shiok to have steamboat in rainy cold night and the highlight of the night were the wantons handmade by meifang and the new type of wine that Mei Yee introduced to us, MASCATO! So goood. Watching music bank special christmas season and go gaga over all handsome koreans while eating, it was a wonderful experience! We were so busy watching and eating that we forgot to take a group photo tgt.

Christmas Eve

Good company and great food! All thanks to Daphne for her great recommendation on Kuru Kuru Japanese Buffet Resturant. My fav dish of all : Raw salmon( !!) it was fresh, thick and succulent, think i ate about 8 slices. :D:D and i can't get enough of it

For gift exchange, we downloaded an app called Elfster prior the Christmas celebration. This app helped us to randomly pick out  a person for you to give to and we were so called his/her secret elf. We're able to ask qns anonymously (what do you like?) and put up a wishlist for yourself .

Huisan's idea for blindfolding us so that we won't know who our secret elf is. I think the last time i was blindfolded, was like 3 yrs ago during GL training?

The secret elf  finally revealed after rounds of guessing.

Got a planner for 2012 as a gift which was what i wanted my wishlist! Thanks wilson!

Christmas choco from the rest. Ben and i felt so bad because we forgot to prepare for all of them. :(( NEXT YEAR WE MUST RMB!

After that, we headed to swirl art for some after-meal dessert before heading back to Ben godparent's place from part 2 of the celebration.

Christmas day

Lunch with Ben's parent.

Ben and I are fan of the korean variety show called running man and they always featured this cartoon (PORORO) so i thought it might be cute as a gift :D Also, a starbuck tumblr .

And, i got a guitar as a christmas gift from ben! Yay, we can play and learn tgt.

2011 has been a very wonderful year even though there are many ups and downs but it was worth the ride. 2012 will be a big year for me because my first major UOL exam is coming in May and i hope i will be able to do well.

Life woudn't have been so amazing without ben :D

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

Stumbled upon this inspiring donkey-in-the-well story in my fb news feed. Would like to share this here, hope this story is able to fuel your energy and keep you moving too! :)

One day a farmer´s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old and the well needed to be covered up anyway, it just wasn´t worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone´s amazement, he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer´s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off.

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well, is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step upward!

Better things are coming

Life has been good! I'm so glad that I'm only required to go to school for 3 days and the rest of time I'm able to do my own thing. Therefore, i set myself a new goal which is to save up a good sum of money for vacations which has always been my dream :D:D:D:D:D:D These are some countries that ought to visit them at least once in your lifetime, hahaha in my opinion!

Santorini, Greece

It's just like heaven on earth. See those white-washed buildings...

Paris

It's my dream to go paris to "touch and feel" the Effel Tower

London, St Stephen's Tower or The Tower of Big Ben

Venice, Italy

It's also known as A Sinking City because it's partially submerge in the water. Studies have shown if the global temperature continues to rise, it will lead to an incease in the sea level which may cause a serious flood in this city. So I got to visit this floating city before it's gone forever.

Anfield, UK

Haha, It's actually ben's dream but I want to tag along too because Liverpool says " You will never walk alone."

New Caledonia

Heavenly Beaches with bright sunshine in the vast blue sky on a heart-shaped island! They have it all :) Got to know this island through a korean drama, boys over flower which i've watch 2yrs ago!

New Caledonia Heart

I  feel so excited and motivated even just by writting these all out! :D Can't wait to for THE day to be able to step on the soil/sand of these of cities/island!

WAIT FOR ME!

Love ya! XOXOXO

Sugar, spice and everything nice.

I'm glad i have more free time now as compared to the month of August! September has always been my favourite month and got me so hyped up with events and outings! Pls don't "wake me up when september ends!"

On the side note, my sch has finally started and was happy that i got the in the same class with shermin and cindy! You know, it's like we're classmates again! Hahaa. So, we did our usual thing after class which is to GO SHOPPING.

Before Cindy came to meet us after her lesson

After that, met up with Wanning and Fanni for dinner. Yes, after sooooo long!!

A  very pretty gift from them :D The highly raved urban decay naked palette!

A belated birthday gift from me to her. They r getting prettier yo!

Fanni!

F

Ytd afternoon - Went back to JPM to meet a very good colleague/friend of mine for lunch. Recieved a very sweet gift from her! I still remembered in the beginning of the year, we were eyeing this pretty Kate Spade iphone casing and we wanted to order this together from US so as to share the shipping cost but i didn't get it in the end because i found that the pricing is a little steep. As a student now, i settled down with an inspired one which i got from flea. Yet to be surprise, she got me the REAL ONE!!! AHHHHHHH! It's so gorgeous and i love the self-made wrapper she used.

Ytd evening - Ben and his sister bought tickets for the 3 days Formula 1 event but he couldn't make it for the friday race because he had a evening class to attend so I went on his behalf! Really enjoyed myself  and love the atmosphere in F1 circuit; to be immersed in the heated race track and the ear-piercing sound of the engin. Cool Beans....

Loook how fast the car is moving! Ard 300km/hr according to wiki

At the F1 village where you can find many local/ overseas food stalls and F1 merchandise!

Have we ever slow down for awhile and take a look at the charming skyline we have in SG?

Another great experience in my life :)

Let's keep calm and shine on in our paths ahead!

I'm offically 21!

I had one of the best time in my life. Celebrated my 21st birthday together with beloved family, friends and boyfriend and i 'm so thankful to have them showering me so much love :)

I have always wanted to have a 21st birthday party so that i gather all my friends from all walks of life to come together and meet each other. (: So it's cool that my sort of a dream finally came thru! Been searching thru the internet for party themes, decorations, venues, caterer and etc....  In the end, i've decided to set the theme as "Summer Tea Party", the reason being that i really love summer season = cheery mood and colors, Tea Party = Casual and Chic (:

A BIG THANK YOU to Michelle, Mei Yee, Ben and his mum for helping me with the decorations. MoonKian, Setopi, Dionna, Joycelyn Chua and Ben again for helping me to pack up after the party! Not forgetting, all those that i had helped me to take photos throughout the event and everyone else who have helped me in one way or another (: You all have been a great help! Thank you! :D

I'm so glad that most of them are dressed according to the theme!

Dude = Stripes

Babe = Polka Dots

Love my 21st cupcake cake from Pine's Garden, not only they have many designs to choose from but they also have awesome flavours waiting to impress your guests! They have excotic flavours like Lychee Martini (which is their signiture cake), Bailey's Chocolate Crunch (Must Try!!!), Red Dates ....etc

For mine, it's 2 tiers cake so i chose Mango Passionfruit Cake and Hazelnut Chocolate because i think most people will it.

If you are interested in their cakes, you can check out their website http://www.pgcake.com/index.htm

The best gifts of all: the good times spent  together and the bad times held onto each other

Happy Meason :D

Simple lil gifts for them(:

I hope all of you have enjoyed yourselves as much as i do that night (: Alll the best and good luck

Where have i been...

Heyo! It has been a month plus since i last blogged. Well, i can say that this past one month has been quite a toughy one. Battled with a gastric flu on the very day of econs paper! Can you imagine i almost puke in the examination hall? I vomited 3 times before the start of paper, and was feeling dizzy and felt like puking while doing my paper. In the end, i couldn't take it and left the exam hall with an uncompleted script. Sigh...

The funny thing was, i was offered a trash bag to vomit (smt to "vomit on-the-go") by the SIM cleaner while waiting for my bro to fetch me home from school.  Visited the doctor and he gave an INJECTION :( because i practically threw up everything i ate. felt super terrible, both physically and mentally; 1. dizzy and i couldn't even walk properly, 2. worried abt  my uncompleted econs paper, 3. i haven't studying my maths paper which was the day after tomorrow!

Was thankful to mom for staying up the whole night to take care of me and my bf for his assurance that exams are going to turn out fine. And ya, thanks to them, i made it for my maths paper that day. Whatever the outcome is, i just hope for the best...

I'm back!

Hello everybody! I'm back! Back from KL, back to being a full-time student and back here to this little cyberspace of mine.

Owells, school for me have started a week ago and so far so good; met a sec sch mate, so at least i'm nt lonely. (: However, i can't help but to feel a little stress because exams are approaching and lecturers have been injecting so many concepts and formula into us in this short period of 1 mth. Really find myself having lack of time, i used to time to catch up with friends every week but now, i can't even have the time to reply whatapp and not to mention to spam my fb and twitter wall as often. Hahaha. Seriously, i need to have better time managment.

Anyway, did up a collarge of my recently KL trip with Benben. I'm so glad that this trip was even more enjoyable than i expected to be, not because of the shopping but is the FOOD AND MY AWESOME BOYFRIEND! :D:D:D

And last Sunday, we headed down to ben cousin's warehouse to sort out some stocks to prepare for the upcoming flea! Yes, we will be having a booth on 9th Jul flea @ scape park, 2-8pm!  For those who are free, pls come by to support us (((: We will be selling men and ladies wear ranging from as low as $12- $25.

See you there!!

Moving on to the next stage of life.

A special day

10th June 2011 was a day filled with joy because...

my brother is officially a married man!

And my dearest benny has completed his full 2yrs of national service! ORD LOH!

The bride and groom of the day.

My brother decided to make it as a simple affair by inviting only few of his very close friends and us (family) to witness the solemnisation. However, many of the relatives and good friends have actually come forth to give them their warmest blessings :)

Here are some the photos taken on that day.

So happy that benben could join us as he was able to book out so much earlier than we expected. His sir started giving back all the pink IC at 7.30am and he was released at 9am!! SO EARLY!

Dinner with family and his close friends after the solemnisation.

Lastly, a lovely photo before i end the post. :)
